Performance Test Approach and Data Reference for Domestic Connectors
In order to verify the performance and stability level of domestic connectors, we conducted comparative tests in combination with CLIFF standard products, focusing on the following test items:
Breakdown and short-circuit reliability test
Simulate long-term insertion and extraction use, test the change in contact resistance of domestic substitute connectors after 10,000 insertions and extractions; data shows that the contact resistance of domestic products does not exceed 10%, and the difference from the CLIFF standard does not exceed 15%.
Signal Integrity Test
Taking the Cat.6 RJ45 Feedthrough interface as an example, conduct high-speed data transmission tests (1 Gbps): the error rate (BER) of domestic products is ≤10⁻¹², which is comparable to that of CLIFF products.
Environmental stress test
After 48 hours of testing under the simulated internal heat dissipation environment of a 40℃ instrument that meets the IP protection standard, the temperature rise of the domestic connector is controlled within 10℃, with no loosening of the pins, and it is close to the imported equivalent product.
4. Interference Resistance and Lifespan Testing
TOSLINK optical interface can continuously transmit for 1 hour in a simulated high electromagnetic interference environment with no significant disconnection. The performance of the domestic optical interface is consistent with CLIFF.
