Hirose Electric Co Ltd's FH12 series connector is a high-performance FFC/FPC (flat flexible) connector assembly for precision electronic devices. Featuring a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) design with a trigger lock mechanism that ensures a secure and stable connection while providing ease of operation, the FH12 connector supports 36-pin positions with a pitch of only 0.50mm for FFC/FPC cables with a thickness of 0.30mm. Its surface mount (SMT) right-angle design, combined with a 2.00mm on-board height, allows it to fit into space-constrained applications. The contacts are gold-plated phosphor bronze to ensure excellent conductivity and durability. The housing is made of UL94 V-0 rated flame-retardant polyamide (PA) and the actuator material is polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) for enhanced heat and chemical resistance. The connectors have a rated voltage of 50V, a rated current of 0.5A, an operating temperature range of -40°C ~ 85°C, and can withstand up to 20 mating cycles, making them suitable for use in industrial and consumer electronics applications.
