Hirose Electric Co Ltd introduces the FH23 series FPC (flat flexible) connector, a high-performance, compact connector for high-density electronic devices. The connector features a 0.30mm pitch, 45-pin design that supports 0.20mm-thick FPCs, and a low insertion force (LIF) feature that reduces insertion and removal resistance and improves assembly efficiency. The contacts are gold-plated with phosphor bronze to ensure excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance for long-term stable connections, and the FH23's surface-mount, right-angle construction with an on-board height of only 1.25mm saves space and is suitable for ultra-thin devices. The trigger locking mechanism provides reliable retention and the cable ends are tapered for easy insertion. The connector housing and actuator are made of halogen-free liquid crystal polymer (LCP), which meets environmental standards. With a rated voltage of 30V, a rated current of 0.3A, an operating temperature range of -55°C to 85°C, and a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, the series is widely used in high-end applications such as smart terminals, wearable devices, and medical electronics.
